The Gunnery was founded in 1850. It is co-ed college prep boarding school. Their aim is to teach social responsibilities and nationality to their students. This college has an experience of 158 years and it is supreme preparatory college of the country.

At Gunnery they offer a broad range of high class experiences to the interested students. Gunn scholar programs give one senior student the opportunity to pursue higher education. Saga program provides two juniors to spend one semester at the Woodstock School located in the Himalayan Mountains in India. Writing lab is an important part of English program.
