This boarding school is a result of merger of two esteemed schools The Mary A. Burnham School of Northampton and Stoneleigh-Prospect Hill School of Greenfield, both having a history of more than 130 years. It is working under its current name from last 40 years. They provide useful and effective programs in science, debate, arts and riding along with highly focused college preparatory curriculum.

They offer a challenging academic curriculum to its upper class students that consist of wide ranges of courses and elective subjects. They also provide honors and AP courses in all disciplines like science, history, English, foreign languages, and studio arts. Education at this boarding school focuses on developing the proficiency of students to analyze things. Middle school students at this boarding school get proper care and attention, and they are encouraged to exploit their academic, social, artistic and athletic development. Many outdoor and sports activities are also arranged at this boarding school that develops the skills and stamina of its students.
