St. Andrew’s School was established in 1893 by the Reverend William Merrick Chapin, the rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Barrington. It is a co-educational day and boarding school in grades 6 to 12. The school is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). It is spread in 72-acre campus. Its mission is to help students who need an individualized approach to teaching. The teachers focus on the individual needs of each student and help them to find new ways to evolve in life and in education. The total numbers of students enrolled are 208. The students from different countries and different origins take admission in it.
The total number of faculty member is 46. The student to teacher ratio is 5:1. The average class size is 8-12. Its Resource program is certified by the State of Rhode Island. It helps students in developing self-awareness, self-reliance, self-confidence, and self-respect. It also organizes various physical activities to ensure sound health of students.
