Oldfields School was founded by Anna Austen McCulloch in 1867. It is spread in 200 acres of land in Baltimore County. It is dedicated to the intellectual and moral development of young girls. The school’s culture is based on 3 core values:

It doesn’t differentiate students on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin. All students are given equal rights, privileges, programs, and activities without any discrimination.

The school has SMART Board which is a interactive whiteboards. It has the combined power of a projector, computer, and whiteboard. The school has also 36’x70’ Dance Studio. It has four regulation-size playing fields, used for field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse and five tennis courts, a 200’ x 100’ indoor riding ring, outdoor show rings, a softball diamond. The school has a gymnasium which is equipped to serve basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and also includes a fitness center. The riding facility is also provided which includes an indoor riding arena and two outdoor rings.

Many schools are solely meant for girls only. Some parents want to send their daughter to girl’s school. The schools for providing education to girls are many but only some of them are well-established. The schools for girls should have all the qualities that are necessary for girl’s point of view.
